We created stills and video for Exchange Bank‘s advertising campaign celebrating their clients who are part of Sonoma County’s amazing community. Collaborating with the excellent team at The Engine is Red, we captured a peek behind the scenes of Redwood Empire Food Bank‘s inspiring and vast operation.
Maintaining an open mind and a make-it-work attitude is a great way to leave the door open for ideas like the image above to come to life. Near the end of our shoot, we still hadn’t found our iconic image to tell the whole story simply and powerfully: food, people helping people, and scope. By combining a great T-shirt, a bag of onions, and a quiet corner of the warehouse, we were able to get the job done. The image was used on a highway billboard like this:
The Redwood Empire Food Bank puts quality food into the hands of people who don’t have enough to eat. A shocking number of those people are children. It was heartwarming and inspirational to see so many volunteers giving their time to help. Please consider donating or volunteering.
Special thanks to Louis Ekrem for the hard work and creative collaboration on our video. And to Peggy Kinstler for making our stills clean and beautiful.
